Company overview

Harmony Haven National Trust is a Washington nonprofit organization developing an integrated national model designed to support children, youth, families, and communities through long-term stability, opportunity, and belonging. Our work brings together child welfare reform, housing, education, healthcare, mental-health support, reentry, technology, recreation, agriculture, animal-assisted programs, life-skills development, and community-based services. Rather than addressing complex social challenges through disconnected systems, Harmony Haven is developing models that bring essential services together around the people and communities they are intended to serve. Our long-term vision includes comprehensive sanctuary communities where children and young people can grow in safe, stable environments with access to education, healthcare, recreation, technology, nature, animals, family and sibling connections, and pathways into independent adulthood. Harmony Haven also develops policy proposals, community programs, technology concepts, housing and reentry initiatives, and partnerships intended to improve existing systems while larger infrastructure is developed. We believe meaningful systems change requires collaboration across sectors, including nonprofits, government, healthcare, education, technology, engineering, philanthropy, business, tribal communities, researchers, advocates, and people with lived experience. Our guiding promise is simple: “Ohana for the broken, lost, and forgotten.”
